Whacko gun guys are at it again

Just in case the U.N. doesn't alreeady think half the people in thisa counrty are insane, the NRA plans on proving it.

Thousands of US citizens, prodded by a misleading National Rifle Association (NRA)-related campaign, have inundated the offices of UN officials with letters expressing concern that the world organization will take away their right to bear arms during the UN Small Arms Review Conference.

That's from a UPI story, as the NRA leadership riles up its membership with the absurd claim that the U.N. is going to confiscate firearms from American gun owners. The well-paid NRA Executive Vice-President, Wayne LaPierre, even penned an inflammatory book entitled, 'The Global War on Your Guns: Inside the UN Plan to Destroy the Bill of Rights.'
