Bush lies about Tax cuts
The man couldn't tell the truth if his rotten, failure of a life depended on it!
But then why should he? Lying has worked so well, with the Rethug, do-nothing but cover-up Congress at his beck and call.
Sirotablog:
"Knight Ridder has a terrific piece today on how President Bush is very publicly lying about the effects of his tax cuts. Bush is 'suggest[ing] that his tax cuts are behind a surge of new revenue into the Treasury, and he implied that it's enough to offset the revenue lost by these reductions,' the news service notes. For instance, at a ceremony on the White House lawn, Bush said his tax cuts had helped the economy grow, 'which means more tax revenue for the federal Treasury.' But as the news service points out, 'That's just not true.' The article subsequently quotes Bush's own former economists to prove the president is lying. Go check it out. "
