The Judiciary Committee did, indeed, hold about an 8 hour Hearing today on the Bushites spy program, featuring Alberto Gonzales as the only witness. I must admit it was a little hard to stay awake...
From now on, I will consider no Hearing legal, unless people who testify are sworn. (Like those goddamned, jackass oil- CEOs, for example)
Nevertheless, I believe that it is still against the law to lie to Congress whether you take the oath or not.
Of course, the Bushites are currently re-interpreting every law on the books, so who knows?
