Is Rover Using Novakula To Sandbag Waxman

Rove has used Novak, repeatedly, in the past to leak information or simply to put out false stories to confuse the public and Congress about a number of issues.

Everyone knows about the Plame leak and, whether or not he was indicted for it, we all know that little piece of treason was classic Rover.

One of his contacts was Novak.

Rover was fired by Bush Sr. for leaking to, guess who? That's right. The prince of journalistic darkness, himself.

So, what kind of message is this?

Maybe Waxman knows.

Nevertheless, it is unlawful to take the 5th without the sincere belief that one is criminally at risk.

It is one thing for Novak to attempt to sandbag Waxman.

For Rover's ex-aide ( and we have read, much more than that to the infamous toadman), Ms Ralston, it would be a crime.

Novak really doesn't know much about the law, does he?

Robert D. Novak - Rove's Worrisome Witness - washingtonpost.com: (Read On)

On the day presidential senior adviser Karl Rove administered a tongue-lashing to a Republican congressman, disturbing news about his former executive assistant was spread on Capitol Hill. GOP House members learned that Susan Ralston is requesting immunity to testify before Democratic Rep. Henry Waxman's investigating committee.

She was an assistant to Jack Abramoff, Washington super-lobbyist and Republican fundraiser, in 2001 when he recommended her for the top job with Rove as he entered the White House. As Rove's gatekeeper, Susan Bonzon Ralston became special assistant to the president and the highest-ranking Filipino American in the administration. For Waxman, she is a link between the disgraced, imprisoned Abramoff and Rove, a principal political target of the Democratic-controlled Congress.
