Military Plays Up Role of Zarqawi

This is old news to us. Glad the Post is catching up.

There are Iraqis who wonder if there even is such a person as BuCheney's latest boogie man.

How many times have we killed Zarqawi, now?

Wasn't he suposed to be an amputee?

This is pathetic.

First we have a 6'4 Arab with chronic kidney failure, running around the mountains of Afghanistan, presumably hauling his portable dialysis machine on a donkey behind him. He is still free and looking a lot better than Bush or Cheney during his appearence just prior to the 2004 elections.

For awhile now there has been the ever-nimble, uncatchable, amputee Zarqawi.

These guys sound like comic book super-hero type characters.

Just can't really believe anything they say anymore.

Military Plays Up Role of Zarqawi:

"The U.S. military is conducting a propaganda campaign to magnify the role of the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, according to internal military documents and officers familiar with the program. The effort has raised his profile in a way that some military intelligence officials believe may have overstated his importance and helped the Bush administration tie the war to the organization responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks."
