From Saxby to and angry Independent and back again.

The latest from one of my lovely senators:

Thank you for contacting me regarding your concerns
about the treatment of military detainees.  It is good to hear from you.

(Yeah, yeah...whatever. Aren't you the fellow who trashed Max Cleland? I do not approve of that kind of electioneering!)

The terrorists we are capturing in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere - and that we are holding in detention centers in
Guantanamo Bay, Iraq and Afghanistan - are among the most violent, cold blooded killers in the world, who committed to killing us.

(Funny I am not as afraid of Osama and his ilk as I am of you and your ilk. When I am afraid I will fight, hard and dirty. Get it? You should, since that is your M.O.)!

Fortunately we have been able to learn information
from many of these detainees which has curbed terrorist attacks and saved the lives of many of our servicemen and women overseas and also our loved ones here at home.

Bullshit! prove it!
Don't you understand that we cannot trust any of you any more?

The Senate Committee on Armed Services, of which I am a member (oh glory to you, Senator bullshit) conducted hearings on the issue of prisoner interrogations and allegations of prisoner abuse over the past eighteen months.  Through these hearings, we learned that, while only a of our soldiers were guilty of negligence in this area, clarifying the policies related to interrogation would help eliminate confusion in the field.  While I agree that defining the proper procedures and ensuring they are properly followed is the job of military commanders, it is appropriate for the Senate to ensure that proper policy and guidance exists.

That is bullshit and you know it. Have you listened to the woman officer speak the truth since she is out of service, Col. Karpenski? Do you not understand that the responsibility for this horror goes all the way to the oval?

This has nothing to do with interrogations, but were actions inflicted by soldiers acting without authorization.  However, these actions are a very inaccurate and misleading representation of our American forces and their efforts to bring peace and security to.

Don't hide behind the troops, especially since you have never been one.

First of all, you really should stop ending sentences with a preposition. It makes you seem stupid.

Second of all, any one with Google knows that most of what you say is not true.

PROVE IT!!!!!!!  If it is true, what you are saying....

As always, I appreciate hearing from you. Additionally, if you
would like to receive timely e-mail alerts regarding the latest
congressional actions and my weekly e-newsletter, please sign
up via my web site at: www.chambliss.senate.gov.

No problem, except that I get damned tired of being patronized and blown off.
NO, I do not wish to receive timely propaganda.

Life is irritating and stressful enough, as it is.

Thank You!
Now go "Cheney yourself!

Sincerely,

Saxby Chambliss
United States Senate

Sincerely,
Dot Dedman
U.S. citizen; Boss of you.
