NEW YORK - A federal judge blasted former Environmental Protection Agency chief Christine Todd Whitman on Thursday for reassuring New Yorkers soon after the Sept. 11 attacks that it was safe to return to their homes and offices while toxic dust was polluting the neighborhood.
So why is she not in jail?
Until someone really pays a price for their criminality, they will believe they can just keep it up. Nothing will happen to them.
Who can blame them for thinking that way, since nothing ever does happen to them. Even when their lies cost lives and cause people to lose their health Lies may be wrong, but nothing ever happens to the liars.
My mother should have been a judge. Then, by God, some thing very bad would have happened to the liars; some thing they would never, ever forget!
