Ah, yes, the twin pillars of the gates to hell; fear and deceit.

There are two things Bush and Republicans do really well. Neither of them, unfortunately, involves the ability to govern well (see Katrina, staggering deficits, falling wages etc.). Neither of them, unfortunately, involves the ability to win wars they start (see Iraq and Afghanistan). The two things, unfortunately, the only two things Bush and Republicans do really well are scaring people enough to vote for them and, of course, lying. First, they lied the nation to war on Iraq and then have spent the past three-plus years telling new lies to cover for their old lies. And just when a person might think they've run out of lies or ways to tell the same old lies, they conjure up bigger and more inventive ways to lie.
