Lieberman is certifiable

Here are the CBS News and video links with Joe "Joementum" Lieberman's extremely irresponsible comments about attacking Iran:

Watch: Lieberman Warns Iran

Last night on MSNBC Scarborough Country, guest host Dan Abrams had Neocon Mike Evans on as a guest. Evans went absolutely nuts and behaved like a lunatic during this dialogue in my opinion!

Here is the MSNBC Scarborough Country video link to see this very interesting dialogue which I highly recommend watching (choose either link):

Target: Iran?

June 11: Sen. Joe Lieberman says the United States should consider military action against Iran due to suspected involvement in Iraq. Dan Abrams discusses the suggestion with The Huffington Post's Arianna Huffington, analyst Pat Buchanan and author Mike Evans.
Right below is the MSNBC Scarborough Country transcript of this video.

Here are some key excerpts from this video where Pat Buchanan of all people is accused by Evans of "a liberal game," where Arianna Huffington says how "the title of his (Evans) new book alone (“The Final Move Beyond Iraq”?) says it all about how disconnected from reality he is, and where Evans bluntly said about bombing Iran “We‘ve got to do it this year. We‘ll never do it in ‘08. And by 2009, we‘re going to have a nuclear Iran:”

ABRAMS: "You know, Arianna, it‘s not that often you hear someone accuse Pat Buchanan of playing the liberal game. I mean, it just doesn‘t happen all that often.

HUFFINGTON: But, you know, with the greatest respect to Mike Evans, you know, the title of his new book alone says it all about how disconnected from reality he is. “The Final Move Beyond Iraq”?...

ABRAMS: All right, I‘m about to switch topics, Mike. I want to give you one more chance. So what do you think about, specifically, Lieberman‘s comments saying, “Hey, we need to very seriously consider the issue of bombing Iran if things don‘t change”?

EVANS: General Moshe Yaalon, former chief of staff of Israel, told me, “We‘ve got to do it this year. We‘ll never do it in ‘08. And by 2009, we‘re going to have a nuclear Iran.”

ABRAMS: Wow...

EVANS: Pat, it‘s not a war! We‘re talking about a surgical strike with ICBMs and stealths, just to take out the nuclear programs..."

Mike Evans really demonstrates very well how crazy that Neoconservative foreign policy philosophy is with his outrageous personal behavior and with the extreme things that he said in my opinion!

Below the MSNBC Scarborough Country transcript is the CNN transcript of Jack Cafferty talking about "Joementum's" comments about attacking Iran. Here is a sample of the letters that Cafferty received from his audience about "Joementum:"

Donna in Haverhill, Massachusetts: "Jack, Senator Joe Lieberman should consider retiring. I think he's completely lost his mind."

And Julian in Salisbury, North Carolina: "Attack Iran? With what, his state's highway patrol?"

Here is a recent post I did where I document that Bush bombing Iran before he leaves office
without there being an imminent threat and without sufficient diplomacy having taken place may be a real and very serious problem:

I think it is very important for everyone to understand these three key points about Neocons:

1) Neocons are NOT nice people as far as politics are concerned. They are very arrogant people who do NOT believe in any form of compromise with those who disagree with them:

2) Neocons are very dangerous people:

3) The new litmus test of who is "conservative" in the Republican Party now is how strongly that they hold to Neoconservative foreign policy pinciples:

This is the main reason why a socially liberal Rudy Giuliani is the current front-runner in the 2008 Republican primary race over candidates like Sam Brownback, Mike Huckabee, and Jim Gilmore who are very socially conservative:

Wolf Blitzer asked if Giuliani is a Neocon; He IS and that MUST be exposed NOW!

I would compare Rudy Giuliani to "Joementum." They are both socially liberal and they are both loved by the Neocon GOP activist base because of where they stand on Neoconservative foreign policy principles. I would also say that electing Giuliani as President in 2008 would be about the same thing as electing "Joementum" President in 2008. There is not very much that they would disagree on as far as I can see!

The Neocon activists are very eager to try and recruit "Joementum" while they are just as eager to try and throw Chuck Hagel out of the GOP by supporting his primary opponent:

Chuck Hagel's Primary Challenger
Posted by: Patrick Ruffini at 10:15 AM

"Chuck Hagel has drawn a serious primary challenger. His name is Jon Bruning, Nebraska's attorney general. His website is here. If you're so inclined, you can contribute here..."

I completely agree with Jon Soltz's strong rebuke of "Joementum" and also with his wanting to trade him for for Hagel:
