Anger at Bush May Hurt GOP At Polls

COUNT ON IT!

The longer the Bushites go with no accountability for anyone who is responsible for the horrendous mess in which we find ourselves, both domestically and foreign-policy-wise, the more likely it is that the Republicans are going to suffer a defeat unprecedented in modern politics, in the next two elections.

They have exercised total power in both elected branches of government. They have only themselves to blame when the GOP collapses under the ruination of the United States, already well under way.

The corruption alone, is astounding.

They have started what they have always feared; class warfare and they have broken a cardinal rule in waging war: Don't make enemies within. Don't create masses of people with nothing left to lose, especially people who no longer trust you. It is a recipe for Disaster.

Do I hear the Battle Hymn of the Republic being played by a bagpiper, slowly, as if at a funeral...for the GOP?

Anger at Bush May Hurt GOP At Polls:

"Intense and widespread opposition to President Bush is likely to be a sharp spur driving voters to the polls in this fall's midterm elections, according to strategists in both parties, a phenomenon that could give Democrats a turnout advantage over Republicans for the first time in recent years.

Polls have reflected voter discontent with Bush for many months, but as the election nears, operatives are paying special attention to one subset of the numbers. It is the wide disparity between the number of people who are passionate in their dislike of Bush vs. those who support him with equal fervor."
